The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case has scratches throughout and some nicks. The case number between the 6 o'clock lugs is light, but visible. The case is full. The crown has a nick to it. The back of the lugs have scratches. The back of the lug at 11 o'clock has an illegible series of numbers etched to it. The case back is in good condition with scratches. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands show signs of age and appear to be original. The dial and hands have developed patina. There is discoloration to the dial around 12 and 6 o'clock and around the center of the dial. The luminous plots at the hour markers have all darkened. The luminous plot at 3 o'clock has been lost. The luminous material in the hands have darkened as well, but not as much as the hour markers. The chronograph function is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
