Lot Essay
This OMEGA Seamaster "Soccer Timer" chronograph reference 145.019 features a sporty cushion-shaped case and a stunning multi-colored dial with white base and red, blue and black outer track. The nickname "Soccer Timer" comes from the fact that the minutes register has a large 45 that can be used to note the half of a soccer match. It is a watch that has a great vintage look in a modern-sized case.

The case is in good condition with light scratches throughout. The case appears to have been lightly polished. The lug at 11 o'clock has a very small nick to its inner edge. The back of the lugs have scratches. The case back has scratches throughout. The engraving is clear to the case back. The case back appears to have been lightly polished. The dial shows signs of age and appears to be original. The luminous plots at the hour markers are completely missing at 2 and 3 o'clock. The rest have very small amount of remaining luminous material. The inner bezel has some wear around its inside edge. The dial is slightly discolored throughout. There is wear around the edges of the sub-registers. There are some faint green spots on the dial around the OMEGA signature and between the sub-registers. The minute and hour hands are correct, but appear to be later replacements. The chronograph hand is not correct for this model and is later. The end links are stamped "549" and the bracelet "1117." The end links show signs of wear. The bracelet and clasp have scratches. The bracelet has stretch. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
