Lot Essay
OMEGA introduced the Speedmaster reference 2998 in 1959. The original models are some of the most highly sought after watches in the world. In 2016, OMEGA released the Speedmaster CK2998 paying homage to the original model. This iteration features the same distinct look as the original except OMEGA used blue accents with a white dial, instead of the original black. This tribute model features Alpha hands, lollipop seconds hand, and straight lugs giving this modern watch a vintage look and feel. The bezel ring on this model is made of polished blue ceramic with a Super-LumiNova tachymeter. OMEGA produced this model in a limited edition of 2998 pieces and did a wonderful job as it has been well received in the market. This is a good opportunity to own a mint example, complete with box and papers. Post Lot Text
