The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case has light scratches and few small nicks throughout. The numbers are visible between the lugs, but there are some scratches through the serial number. The case has been polished. The back of the lugs show evidence of the bracelet. The case back has light scratches. The inside of the case back is stamped "6239." The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel is in good condition with some small nicks around its edge. The dial and hands appear to be original and are possibly re-lumed. The 3 and 9 o'clock subsidiary dials have developed patina, as well as the right half of the dial around the hands. The "Swiss" text at the bottom of the dial has been rubbed off. All luminous plots are intact at the hour markers. The bracelet appears to be a later replacement. It is stamped "7-71" indicating its production in 1971. The bracelet has the "C + I" hallmark indicating it was produced in the US or Mexico. The bracelet has scratches and stretch and the clasp appears to have been polished. The chronograph is working intermittently at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
