Lot Essay

Ulysse Nardin created this watch for the 150th anniversary of its brand. It is a tribute to their well-known marine chronometers produced throughout the company's history. The up/down indication and sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock are clear tributes to the marine chronometer form. This watch was made in three metals - yellow, pink and white gold. A total of 750 were produced; 250 in each metal. The band to the side of the case at 9 o'clock indicates this is number 111/250 for the white gold production.
