The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The present lot is offered in good condition, with consideration to its age. As stated in the extract this watch was manufactured in 1926 and sold on March 1st, 1927. The dial is an older refinishing and displays signs of patina, wear, and aging. The case does have scratches and scuffs from wear commensurate with age. The angles are softer from the wear over time and prior polishing. hallmarks on the back are not easily visible. The left side of the case does display a slight gap by the lip where the case has been opened. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
