The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in very good condition with light scratches. The numbers are crisp between the lugs. There are some very small signs of wear to the inside edges of the lugs that are covered by the end links. The case has developed a light patina. The back of the lugs have scratches and show evidence of the bracelet. The hallmarks are crisp to the back of the lugs at 1 and 11 o'clock. The case back has light scratches and has been lightly polished. The inside of the case back is stamped '1803.' The dial, hands, and crystal are in excellent condition and appear to be later replacements. The luminous hour plots are all intact and have darkened slightly with age. The hour markers and hands have developed a light patina. The luminous material in the hands has darkened slightly with age to match the color of the hour plots. The end links are marked '53' and the bracelet '73' indicating its production in 1973. The bracelet has light scratches and little stretch. The bracelet and clasp appear to be lightly polished. The day and date change as the hands pass midnight. The day is displayed in Spanish. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
