The watch shows signs of age and normal signs of wear, commensurate with its age. The case has been polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The case back has scratches to it. The inside case back is stamped ‘1675’ and ‘III.70’ and has watchmaker’s marks. The bezel insert has faded a lot over time. The dial and hands are in good condition with signs of age and appear to be original. There are some small chips to the edge of the dial near 1 and 2 o’clock and near 7 o’clock. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The lume has darkened with age and is partially lost in the GMT hand. The bracelet shows signs of wear and has been polished. The center links have developed patina. The crystal has scratches throughout. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
