The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in good condition with light signs of wear throughout and a case that has been lightly polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The crown, crystal, bezel insert, dial and hands are service replacements. The inside case back is stamped ‘1680’ and ‘II.69’ and has watchmaker’s marks. The bracelet is original and shows normal signs of wear throughout with some stretch. The clasp spring bar is wedged and a watchmaker is needed to micro-adjust it at the moment. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
