The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The gold bezel has scratches throughout. The case back has scratches throughout and there is a nick to the side of the white gold case at 5 o’clock. The engraved numbers and hallmarks are crisp to the case back. The white gold part of the case is darkened. The aftermarket dial is not by Rolex, the later applied Rolex signature is crooked. The buckle has scratches and has developed patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch. Please note that because of the later non-Rolex dial the watch will not be serviced or repaired by Rolex.
