The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in good condition with signs of wear throughout, commensurate with its age and has been polished. The case back is the correct double bevel with the engraving to it faint. The crown and bezel are correct for the watch. The bezel has scratches throughout and has faded slightly. The dial and hands show signs of wear and age and appear to be original. The lume has almost completely deteriorated at the hour markers and there is a brown-ish patina between them. The minute and hour hand have lost some of their white paint. The lume in the minute hand is nearly entirely gone, it’s mostly gone in the hour hand, and there is a heavy patina in the chrono hand lume. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
