The watch has signs of wear, commensurate with its age and has been lightly polished. The case has developed a patina throughout and the hallmarks are visible to the case back. The inside case back has a watchmaker’s mark. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. There are two small marks at the bottom of the dial where the blue color has been lost and they appear as gold color. The buckle is in good condition with normal signs of wear throughout and has a strong patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
