The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in very good condition for its age, with few signs of wear. The case has been polished lightly and the hallmark is still visible to the base of the crown, although slightly rubbed. There are three hand etched letters to the back of the base of the crown. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The hands and hour markers have developed a light patina. The outer track from 6 to 9 shows light signs of wear, as well as the very bottom of the 6 o’clock sub-register. The two quick-set pushers are working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
