The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case shows signs of wear throughout and has been polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs and are inverse. There are scratches between the lugs. There is a scratch to the outside of the case back. The inside case back is stamped ‘1016’ and ‘II.63’ and has watchmaker’s marks. The crystal has scratches. The dial has krazing around its outer from 6 to 1 o’clock. The lume in the hands and on the dial appears to be original. The hands have developed patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
