The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The watch shows signs of wear throughout and has been lightly polished. The numbers between the lugs are crisp. The backs of the lugs show light evidence of the bracelet. The inside case back has watchmaker’s marks. The dial is spidered throughout and appears to be original. The dial is slightly dirtied. The lume in the hour markers has darkened with age. The hands are service replacements and the base of the hour hand lume has yellowed. The hands have developed patina. The bracelet shows normal signs of wear with some stretch and has been polished. The movement needs cleaning. The movement is not working at the time of cataloguing. A full service is required.
