The case has scratches and small nicks throughout. There is a slightly larger nick to the side of the case at 4 o'clock. The case has developed a light patina. The case back has heavier scratches to it. The hallmarks are crisp to the case back. There is an engraving to the case back that is a heart with "35" inside of it. There is also an engraving that says "Capri 97." The bezel has many scratches. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The gold buckle is in good condition with light scratches and a light patina. The quick-set date and GMT functions are working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
