Lot Essay
The Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Wandering Hours wristwatch is a beautifully symmetrical watch. The dial has two sub-registers at 5 and 7 o'clock. These registers keep track of the seconds and minutes elapsed for the chronograph function. The chronograph is operated through a single-pusher at 8 o'clock. The time is displayed using a jump hour like display, but there are three numerals visible at all times. Behind the hour wheel is another disc that is half blue and half black. The hour numbers are hollow and allow for the disc behind to be seen. Blue indicates the day and black indicates the night. Additionally, the day and date are displayed at 9 and 3 o'clock. This watch utilizes Montblanc's in-house movement. Post Lot Text
