Lot Essay
OMEGA produced the reference 145.012 was from circa 1967 to 1969. This reference became a part of NASAs inventory of Speedmasters as basic equipment for the Astronauts. This reference with the legendary caliber 321 movement was worn in space for several NASA missions. This watch features the rare "Dot over 90" or "DON" bezel. The OMEGA Speedmaster remains one of the most iconic and legendary watches produced and models with the caliber 321 and "Dot over 90" bezel are highly sought after.

The case is in good condition with light scratches and small nicks. The case and lugs have been lightly polished. The lug at 2 o'clock has a small nick to its bottom edge and a small flat spot to its bevel. The back of the lugs have scratches and the back of the 11 o'clock lug has a small nick. The case back has scratches throughout and some small nicks. The case back shows signs of being opened. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel has peeled in many places and shows signs of wear. The bezel is a dot-over-90 bezel. The dial is a later service replacement in good condition. The minute and hour hand have slightly yellowed with age and appear to be original. The luminous material in the hands has darkened to a charcoal color. The chronograph hand appears to be original and the luminous material is a toasted marshmallow color. The crystal has light scratches. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
