The case has scratches and small nicks. The case appears to have been lightly polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The back of the lugs have scratches and show evidence of the bracelet. The case back has scratches. The inside of the case back is stamped '15.' The inside of case back is marked 'I.68' indicating its production in the first quarter of 1968. The bezel has scratches and few small nicks. The dial and hands appear to be original. The hands and hour markers have developed patina. The luminous plots are intact at all of the hour markers, but have darkened with age. The luminous material in the hands has darkened with age. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
