The case has scratches and small nicks. All four lugs have nicks to them. The case appears to have been lightly polished, but remains full. The numbers are visible between the lugs and there are scratches between the 12 o'clock lugs. The back of the lugs have scratches and show signs of wear. The 'Stainless Steel' engraving to the case back is visible, but faint. The case back has scratches and small nicks. The inside of the case back is stamped '1550.' The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The luminous plots are all intact and have darkened slightly with age. The markers at 6, 7, and 11 o'clock have partially deteriorated. The hands have developed a light patina and the luminous material in the hands has darkened slightly with age. The crystal shows signs of wear around the date aperture and 3 o'clock. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
