The case has scratches throughout. The case appears to be full. The numbers are partially visible between the lugs, but have scratches through them. The back of the lugs have scratches. The case back has scratches and small nicks. The inside of the case back is stamped '6605' and 'III.56' indicating its production in the third quarter of 1956. The bezel has some scratches. The dial has been cleaned, reprinted, and relumed. The dial is darker around its outer edges. The luminous plots at the hour markers are intact and there is one that was put in the base of the coronet incorrectly. The lume plots are a light greenish color. The dial has some black smudges. The hands appear to be later replacements and have developed patina. The luminous material in the hands darker yellow color. The end links are marked '55' and the bracelet '2, 59' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1959. The bracelet is a later replacement. The bracelet has stretch, scratches, and has been polished. The clasp has been polished and shows signs of wear. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
