The case is in good condition with light scratches throughout. The case has been lightly polished. The case has developed a light patina. The numbers are partially visible between the lugs, but legible. The inside of the lugs show signs of wear. The back of the lugs show signs of wear with heavy scratches. The case back has scratches throughout and shows signs of wear. The inside of the case back is stamped '6611.' The dial appears to be original and has lost most of its luminous material. The dial has a scratch around the edge of the dial and there are scratches between 11 and 2 o'clock. There is a scratch on the date aperture. The dial, hands, hour markers, and coronet have developed patina. The hands appear to be original. The luminous material in the hour hand is dark and in the minute hand it is lighter. The end links are marked '53' and the bracelet '2, 71' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1971. The bracelet is later. The bracelet has scratches, stretch, and has developed a patina. The clasp has been polished. The date and day change as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
