The lugs show signs of wear with small nicks. The back of the lugs have light scratches and show evidence of the bracelet. The hallmark is visible to the back of the lug at 2 o'clock. The case back has some scratches. The inside of the case back is stamped '6627.' The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial appears to be original. The dial has developed some unevenness on it surface with small bumps. There is a slightly larger bump near the 7 o'clock hour marker. The luminous plots at the hour markers are intact, but have darkened with age. The hands, hour markers, and coronet have developed patina. The hands appear to be later replacements. There is a hole in the lume of the hour hand. The luminous material in the hands has darkened with age. The bracelet is marked '4.63' indicating its production in the fourth quarter of 1963. The brcaelet has developed patina and has some stretch. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
