The case has small nicks and scratches throughout. The case has been polished. There is pitting between the two sets of lugs. The numbers are visible between both sets of lugs. The back of the lugs have scratches. The case back has scratches and small nicks. The inside of the case back is stamped '6565' and also '1.1958' indicating its production in the first quarter of 1958. The movement is stamped 'ROW.' The dial has been reprinted. The dial has light pitting throughout and a yellow spot near the Rolex signature. The hour markers and coronet show signs of age and wear. The hands have developed patina and the luminous material in the hands has darkened. The dial has been relumed. The luminous plots have darkened with age. The end links are marked '57' and the bracelet '6635.' The bracelet is also marked '2, 65,' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1965. The bracelet is a later replacement. The bracelet has scratches and and appears to have been polished. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
