The case has scratches and small nicks. The case has been lightly polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs, but there is a scratch through the serial number. The back of the lugs and the back of the case show signs of wear with scratches and nicks. The case back has scratches and show signs of being opened. The inside of the case back is stamped '6121,' '6202' and '2, 53' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1953. The inside of the case back has small nicks around its outer edge in a fairly uniform pattern. The pip is a later replacement. The bezel is aftermarket. The dial appears to be original with some loose material on it. The luminous material on the dial appears puffy and the dial registers very high on the Geiger counter. The luminous material in the hands and at the hour markers matches in color. The seconds hand appears to be relumed. The hands have developed a light patina. The end links are numbered '58' and the bracelet '2, 56' indicating its production in the second quarter. The bracelet has scratches and little stretch. The bracelet appears to have been lightly polished.
