拍品专文
The JLC Reverso was first produced in the 1930s for polo players. They were in need of a watch that was elegant and robust so it could be worn during a polo match. The watch was designed so that it can be flipped over to its covered side for protection. Over the years, many variations have been produced. This particular model has an 8-day power reserve, two dials (one white, one black), a day/night indication, GMT with pushers for easy time setting, and date.

The watch shows signs of wear, commensurate with its age. Both dials and all sets of hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. All functions are working at the time of cataloguing. The buckle shows signs of wear. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch. Brown unsigned calf leather strap is slightly worn and bent.
