Consigned by a private collector the watch is in close to new overall condition.

The Breitling Superocean model was introduced in 1957 when dive watches became a must-have for each manufacturer. Today this particular model is by numbers the most successful Breitling wristwatch. Like many diving watches of the 1950s, Breitling developed the Superocean for professional divers and the military. When the watch was first released, the model provided water resistance to 200 meters, or 660 feet, a very impressive feature for the time. The Superocean is loved by many for its sporty look and the precision of the chronometer, which is Swiss certified.
