The IWC UTC Edition Antoine de Saint Exupéry pays homage to the French aviator and writer of the early 20th Century. Known for his early flight expeditions in particular his crash landing in the Libyan Sahara during a flight from Paris to Saigon, he is also the author of The Little Prince and in 1939 he wrote his memoir Terre des Hommes. IWC celebrates this pioneer with this limited edition of 500 examples produced in pink gold, 1188 in stainless steel, 250 in white gold and one in platinum, totaling 1939 timepieces produced. A rare and appealing timepiece for the IWC collector.
