Cartier has long been recognized as one of the leading designers of watches for gentlemen and ladies. The Tank was available commercially in 1919 after being designed by Louis Cartier in 1917. This Tank timepiece features a manual movement, white textured dial with black Roman numerals, railroad inner minute track and sword-shaped blue steel hands. This dial also features the Cartier secret signature at 7 o’clock. The present example would be suitable for a man or woman’s wrist.
