Pat Summitt is amongst the greatest coaches in sports' history, and one of the most decorated women's college basketball coaches of all-time. As the head coach of the University of Tennessee's women's basketball team, Pat Summitt accrued 1,098 wins - the most of all-time at her retirement. During her career there from 1974 until 2012, she won eight national titles - again setting the record for most all-time at the time of her retirement.

Of her many accomplishments, Pat Summitt was inducted into the International Women's Forum Hall of Fame. The IWF is an organization made up of highly-accomplished women that aim to improve and foster female leadership worldwide. Their hall of fame includes some of the most accomplished women of the 20th and 21st century from business, politics, entertainment, and academics.

Pat Summitt's career as a basketball coach, is alone, deserving of all the attention and accolades that she received over the course of her life. However, in 2011 Summitt announced that she had been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. She continued coaching for the rest of the season after this announcement and stepped down following its conclusion. For her courage and grit, Summitt was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama in 2012 as well as the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY's.

The presently offered watch offers a chance to own a small memento of an outstanding career defined by success and bravery.
