Lot Essay
The Heuer Autavia was introduced in 1962 and over the course of its production, was presented in several different iterations. This 11063 V is from the 1980s and is characterized by its black dial with dark grey sub-registers. The monochrome aesthetic gives this classic silhouette a modern look that makes this watch highly desirable.

The case has scratches and nicks throughout. The case has pitting between the lugs, around the bezel, and to the back of the case surrounding the case back. The top left lug shows signs of wear. The case back has scratches. The crown is missing its Heuer logo insert. The bezel and bezel insert has scratches. The dial has developed patina. The luminous material in the hour markers and hands has darkened with age. At 2 and 10 o'clock, the luminous material has partially deteriorated. The hands appear to be later replacements. The underlying crystal near 6 o'clock appears to have a small chip. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
