Lot Essay
Emmanuel Coindre is a professional athlete that undertook the immense challenge of rowing across the Pacific ocean without stopping. He departed from Choshi, Japan on June 24, 2005, and arrived in San Francisco, California on October 31, 2005. During this daunting journey, a JLC Master Compressor World Time was his companion that allowed for him to keep track of different time zones and time intervals.
Upon his completion of the journey, JLC released the presently offered limited edition Master Compressor World Time. There are 30 total pieces, 20 made in titanium and steel, and 10 in titanium and platinum. This example is number 8 / 10 from the titanium and platinum examples, making it extremely rare. The case back is specially engraved to commemorate the journey.
