Lot Essay
This rare Speedmaster Day-Date chronograph features the highly-desirable caliber 1045 movement, which is the Lemania 5100 movement. This movement is highly regarded for its reliability and durability. The combination of the 1980s aesthetic and the chronograph movement make this a great watch to collect.

The case and bracelet are in good condition with light scratches. The dial and hands appear to be original. The dial has scratches. The hands have developed patina. The luminescent material in the hands and on the dial have darkened in color. The crystal has scratches. The crown is tight. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The chronograph pushers are tight. The quick-set date function works, but the day does not. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
