The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case has scratches throughout. The case appears to have been polished. The back of the lugs show evidence of the bracelet rubbing. The case back has scratches. The numbers between the lugs are rubbed, but legible. The inside of the case back is stamped "1675" and "II.66" indicating its production from the second quarter of 1966. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel insert has faded to a light blue and a purple-ish color. The dial has some spotting throughout. The luminous material at the hour markers has all been lost. The hands appear to be later replacements, except for the GMT hand which appears to be original. The luminous material at the base of the hour hand is lighter. The date wheel has yellowed slightly. The movement is stamped "ROX." The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
