The Milgauss was introduced in 1956 and was developed for the scientific community. The Milgauss is capable of withstanding magnetic fields up to 1000 gauss. This model was discontinued in 1988 and re-introduced in 2007. The lightning bolt seconds hand, black dial, orange accents and green-tinted glass give this watch an instantly recognizable look that differs from other Rolex models. This example is unworn.
