The case is in good condition with tarnish. It appears that someone tried to clean this bird box, but it actually turned the box green all over in between the engraving throughout the case. The bottom of the box has scratches, dents, and shows signs of wear. The bird covering at the top of the box is off-center. The bird box sound is strong and clear. The lever that activates the bird box is sticky and the operator needs to push down slightly after pulling it to activate. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
