This limited edition Speedmaster was made to commemorate the Apollo-Soyuz space mission - the first international space flight. This was a historic mission as it brought together the United States and the Soviet Union in the midst of the Cold War. The American astronauts that manned the space craft were Thomas P. Stafford, Vance D. Brand, and Deke Slayton. This watch was made in a limited run of 1975 pieces to commemorate the July 17, 1975 date of the mission.

The example offered here comes complete with box and papers. In addition to this, the presentation box is hand signed on the inside by the three American astronauts that accompanied the spacecraft.
