Lot Essay

The reference 3425 was introduced in 1960 and was in production until 1970. It was offered in yellow gold, pink gold, white gold, and platinum. The watch features a two piece case with screw case back made by Wenger. The dials for this model were made by Stern Freres with gold applied indexes. This particular example features a 14k Universal Genève mesh bracelet. It was likely that this bracelet was put on in New York at the Henri Stern Agency (Patek Philippe USA) because this watch features a "HOX" stamp on the movement indicating it was imported into the USA and Henri Stern was the importer for Universal Genève.
