Ralph Lauren is a passionate watch collector and that interest was pivotal to the creation of this watch. The reference boasts the in-house caliber RL300-1 and the design of the watch is inspired by automotives, another passion of Mr. Lauren's. Traces of his own 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe can be seen in the wood dial accent and in the styling of the numerals.

Ralph Lauren is owned by the Richemont brand and the movement in this watch is made by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
