Lot Essay
According to the Archives of Omega, the present watch was originally invoiced on 7 January 1952 in Switzerland.
The 36 mm. diameter of this timepiece is remarkably generous for the time, and grants to the timepiece a remarkable presence on the wrist. Furthermore, the unrestored dial has acquired the even cream patina typical of unmolested dials. Finally, the rare and unusual case construction with stepped lugs is well preserved and adds a more modern twist to this very attractive example of watchmaking from the 1950s.
