Lot Essay
OMEGA introduced the Seamaster in 1948 and it remains a cornerstone of OMEGA's collection today. This "Banana" Seamaster 200 features a striking yellow center and grey outer edge of the dial, sword-shaped hour hand, date window in black with white numerals, and an unusual red and black bezel. The cushion-shaped case and colors of the watch make this a watch that could only be a product of the 1970s and would be a fun and striking watch to wear today.
According to the Archives of OMEGA the present watch was manufactured on September 18, 1972 and delivered to Venezuela.
