Lot Essay

With its very generous 56.5 mm. diameter and absolutely untouched and perfectly preserved white enamel dial with oversized Breguet numerals, the present timepiece is an extremely attractive example of early time-only pocket watch from the 20th century. Its aesthetics are fully matched by its technical appeal: featuring wolf-tooth winding system and Wilmot regulator (aka “snail cam regulator”, due to its shape) this movement exemplifies the highest standard of Patek Philippe at the time.
