The case is in excellent, close to as-new condition, with unspoiled satin finish to the sides and well-defined steps on the sides of the dial. The case back is also virtually mint, with perfect hallmarks. The entire case had acquired a warm glow due to an even layer of oxidation, with the exception of a round area in the back, which was most probably protected by a sticker.
