De Bethune was founded in 2002 by Denis Flageollet and their first watch was the DB1. The presently offered watch is No. 26 of this production, as indicated by the case back. The watch is beautifully finished from the dial, to the distinct case with bullet lugs. The movement for this watch comes from the group Techniques Horlogères Appliqueés (THA). Made up of three of the most well-known independent watchmakers today - François-Paul Journe, Vianney Halter, and Flageollet - Flageollet bought the rights to the group so that he could use the movement in his watches. The monopusher chronograph is sleek and technical, two adjectives that have continued to define De Bethune as a company. This is a great opportunity to own one of their earliest watches.
