The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The enamel to the front of the case is partially missing and shows signs of wear on the back cover as well. The hallmarks to the bow and stem are partially visible, but rubbed. The dust cover has an engraving that reads, "Fabriquee pour A.H. Loomis par Patek Philippe & Co Geneve, Septembre 1877." The inside dust cover has watchmaker's marks. The movement appears clean. The dial and hands are in good condition with light signs of age and appear to be original. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch. The outer case covers of the watch were not originally matched with this movement. For this reason, an Extract from the Archives of Patek Philippe cannot be issued.
