The case shows signs of light wear, but to the lugs there are scratches and small nicks. The case has been polished. The coronet and serial number are visible to the case back. The case back has light signs of wear and has give when pressured. The inside case back is stamped '3695.' The pushers and crown are in pink gold. The crown has light pitting. The dial has been reprinted. The Van Cleef & Arpels signature is not original. There is some damage to the very outer part of the dial near 1 and 6 o'clock and between 8 and 9 o'clock. There are also two scratches to the edge of the dial near 5 o'clock. The hour markers and hands have developed a patina. The chronograph is working intermittently at the time of cataloguing. The movement is working intermittently at the time of cataloguing. A full service is required to fix this.
