The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition and has been lightly polished. The numbers between the lugs are visible. The hallmarks are visible to the back of the lugs at 1 and 11 o'clock and there is light evidence of the bracelet to the back of the lugs. The case back is in good condition with light signs of wear. The inside case back is stamped '1803' and has watchmaker's marks. The crown is correct. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The lume plots are all intact and match the color of the lume in the hands. They have aged to a nice yellow color. The date wheel appears to be a later replacement. The crystal is a service replacement. The bracelet is correct with signs of wear commensurate with its age and has a lot of stretch. The day and date change as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
