The case has scratches and small nicks. There is a deeper nick to the side of the case at 9 o'clock. Around the crown shows signs of wear. The case and lugs have been lightly polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The case has developed a light patina. The back of the lugs have scratches and show evidence of the bracelet. The hallmarks are crisp to the back of the 1 and 11 o'clock lugs. The case back has scratches, small nicks, and a small indentation. The inside of the case back is stamped '1803.' The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands are in very good condition and appear to be original. The luminous material in the hands and at the hour markers match in color and have darkened with age. The hands have developed patina. The crystal has scratches. The day and date display are slightly off-center. The crown is loose. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
