Lot Essay

In 2009 Audemars Piguet introduced the limited edition Montauk Highway Royal Oak Offshore, a watch that captures the spirit of weekend getaways for busy New Yorkers. It was produced in only 300 examples, and the color combination of bright turquoise and brown are reminiscent of the beaches and boats found along the 100-mile stretch of the Montauk Highway.
