Lot Essay
Cartier has long been recognized as one of the leading designers of watches for gentlemen and ladies. The Tank was available commercially in 1919 after being designed by Louis Cartier in 1917. This Tank features an unconventional rhombus shape in a platinum case, Arabic numerals, guilloche dial and blue steel hands. This model was made in a limited edition of 100 pieces and this is number 35.
